How the verification process works

Claim or log in to your dashboard
If your business is already listed, use the "Claim this listing" button. Otherwise, submit a new listing.

Submit your verification request
From your owner dashboard, open any listing and click "Request Verification". Provide evidence of ownership (see below).

Our team reviews within 2–3 working days
We check your evidence and verify the listing. You'll receive an email with the outcome.

Once approved, your listing displays the Verified badge and gains boosted visibility across Norfolk Local.
What evidence is required?
We're flexible — any of the following is usually sufficient:
- Your Companies House registration number (for limited companies)
- A link to your business website that clearly matches the listing name
- A utility bill or bank statement addressed to the business
- Your VAT registration number
- Social media accounts in the business name
- An email address from your business domain
