Since its establishment in December 1991 by Colin and Marjie Keatley, this pub has consistently impressed with numerous accolades, including winning CAMRA - National Pub of the Year twice (1998 & 2004) and The Good Pub Guide - Beer Pub of the Year a record 11 times. The Fat Cat also boasts a prestigious CAMRA - 50th Anniversary Gold Award in 2021, along with being named British Food Awards - Best Pub for two consecutive years (2021 & 2022).
