Norwich summer sessions - city centre

This August, Norwich's beloved Summer Sessions returns for its 13th year, transforming the city centre into a vibrant festival of live music, street theatre, and community performances. From 2nd to 30th August, four pop-up stages at Hay Hill, Westlegate, St Gregory’s Green, and Gentleman’s Walk will host an eclectic mix of genres including folk, jazz, funk, blues, country, and rock and roll. Highlights include street theatre curated by Covent Garden Entertainment with acclaimed performer Rob Roy Collins, and a genre-blending set from LFay in association with Wild Paths. Swing dance sessions and Latin dancing are also on offer at Gentleman’s Walk, while local choirs take the stage to showcase up-and-coming talent. Relax with deck chairs at Westlegate or picnics at St Gregory’s Green as you soak up Norwich's unique charm.
